Create and design new things is my passion. It doesn't matter if it's something I can touch with my hands, draw on a sheet of paper, a piece of software that runs on a microcontroller or in the cloud. I love sitting in front of a whiteboard and think how to solve challenging problems.
I decided to study computer science engineering because I discovered that writing algorithms to control mechanical systems like robots was fun. On my way I discovered the world of dynamic system, simulation and mathematical modeling. I worked in this area during my PhD and after when I joined the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. If interested you can find more information here.
After leaving the academic world I joined as an early employee Whisker Labs, where I helped develop contactless energy sensors. Here I developed machine learning algorithms and data infrastructure to process high frequency electric signals.
After Whisker Labs I joined Google where I work on smart home products that help make our lives easier.
